Prohibition Pub Crawl

Come along to socialize as we explore "Grim" Philly's early tavern & waterfront drinking cultures, and some of our most famous prohibition gangsters- Al Capone, Mickey Duffy, Waxy Gordon, Leo Lanzetti, and others on Philly's "RRR" rated #1 educational drinking tour! With plenty of time to socialize and mingle in between activities, including trivia for chances to win free shots or beer, at least one additional stop with drink specials ordinarily is included to make a spectacular evening out. Two tours in one- your Bootlegger's Ball begins with a narritave tromp around hstorically significant Philadelphia colonial brewing spots recounting craft beer and early drinking histories of our earliest residents before moving on to the second alcohol/tavern phase where we'll enjoy similar libations served up for us by some of the finest watering holes the city has known! Designated driver attends for free (but must register). Includes: *One hour historical tour of “Grim” Philly's colonial brewing, bootlegging, and gangster history prior to arrival at first tavern. *3 Tavern stops: One alcoholic beverages of tavern's choice at 2 different taverns. Drink specials at 3rd tavern. Additional drink giveaways and/or snacks.

Notes:Meet outside the Independence Visitors Center at 6th and Markets Streets in Philadelphia. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled tour time. You must be 16 or older to take this tour. Note: gratuity to your tour guide is not included in course fee.
