Greystone Hall: Holiday House Tour
In the tradition of the Biltmore estate, the DuPont mansions, the Breakers and other grand houses of Newport RI, Greystone Hall stands today as a living monument to the era of great American mansion building from the Gilded Age to the 1920's. Come and enjoy a guided tour of the first floor rooms of this grand country house. Designed by noted Philadelphia architect, Charles Barton Keen, and built for West Chester inventor, industrialist and philanthropist, P.M. Sharples, the English Renaissance style house has been owned by the Jerrehian family since 1942. Located just outside West Chester, the mansion remains a private residence and is not regularly open for public tours. Transportation is on your own.
