Intro to Food Prep 4 Kids! (Ages 9-14)
The Intro To Food Prep 4 Kids summer camp for children will develop skills in the areas of menu implementation, vegetable cookery, pastry baking, safe meat handling, utensil skills, kitchen hygiene, and healthy eating habits. Intro to Food Prep 4 Kids campers will actively engage in planning, preparing, cooking and clean-up of the work areas. Everyone participatesand feels a sense of accomplishment. Intro to Food Prep 4 Kids will entertain and engage children in the world of culinary dishes, from the basics of baking to foods around the world. Cooking and baking classes are an inexpensive option to traditional summer camp and will allow children to discover their culinary spirit. Children will work in full commercial litchens with state of the art equipment. This is a true culinary camp journey. Campers will plan and cater a final buffet for their class on the last day.
