Photography in the Park

This 7 week workshop takes you to various parks in the county to hone your photography skills in a fun and scenic environment! Always a sell-out so register now. It is geared for the photographer who owns a digital SLR camera and looking to take it to the next level! We will cover topics such as nature/wildlife photography, firework photos, evening fair and carnival shots, outdoor portraits with fill flash, as well as other topics to be covered. Students need to have a basic understanding of the camera functions and how tomake lens and body adjustments. Need a standard zoom lens. (28 mm to 70 mm lens would be fine.) Locations in order are: Ridley Creek State Park Mansion and Stables; Newlin Grist Mill park Rts 1 and Cheyney Rd Glen Mills PA; Fireworks - TBD; Valley Forge National Park Washington's Chapel, on RT 23 ; Norristown or Phila. Zoo; Kimberton Fair.

Notes:First class meets at Ridley Creek State Park, Upper parking lot, at the main office. It is HIGHLY recommended that students have a digital SLR camera and a standard zoom lens. A 28 mm to 70 mm lens would be a great selection. NOTE: Each class will be held in a different park/location. If there is an admission fee at the location, you will have to pay separately.
