Trumpet and Cornet for Beginners NEW!
This course is designed to help adults who are interested in the trumpet but reluctant to pursue private lessons. It's also an opportunity for students who do not have a band program, or are currently playing a different instrument in their band program, to learn how to play. The basics of reading music will also be taught, so even if you later decide the trumpet isnt for you, you'll be able to get a good start on learning other instruments. Students will be provided trumpets in class, and introductory course materials to get them started. It is recommended, but not required that students borrow or rent a trumpet or cornet on which to practice between classes. Intended audience: Adults, teens, tweens.
