Pilates Mat Class Tuesdays 10:45
Developed by Joseph H. Pilates as a form of physical therapy in the 1920’s, Pilates is a system of exercise that targets the deep muscles of the front, sides, and back of the torso to strengthen your entire core. Going deeper than the muscles you see in the mirror, Pilates strengthens the stabilizing muscles of your body, so that your posture, balance, and entire core strength improve while you sculpt your body. This is Joseph Pilates’ mat program using his original physical therapy techniques. Wear workout clothing, no shoes required, bring your mat.
