Artistic Hands: Pottery for Beginners

Learn to craft beautiful pottery pieces with hands-on instruction. This introductory class will cover the basics of hand-building and throwing clay on the pottery wheel. Take home your beautiful handcrafted treasures! Note: An $90 fee is payable to the instructor on the first night of class for the clay, glazes, firing and studio fee. All tools will be provided. Class size limited to 5.

Notes:An $90 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class for the clay, glazes, firing and studio fee. Bring towel and apron to class. The Pottery Studio at Phoenix Village Art Center is accessed by the door in the alley at the rear of the building, it is three buildings in and has a porch over it. Students should wear clothes to get messy in, and bring a towel or paper towelling for their hands and an apron is a good idea. Pauline, instructor, 610-935-9548.
