Automotive Engineering and Woodworking for Middle Schoolers - AM Session
Middle school students will learn the "how" and the "why" way that objects are designed in created in the real world. From raw materials to a finished project students will have a "hands on" approach to design their own DRAGSTER. Students will create one of several racecars throughout the week during this tactile approach to design, engineering, and woodworking. By the end of the week students will learn the history of racing in America, design concepts of racecars, different engine technologies, impact and safety systems and woodworking skills that can make these theories come alive. All materials included. If your child is enrolled in both the AM/PM sessions, they may bring a non-persihable bagged lunch. Please bring a $10.00 (per day) check payable to CCNS.
