Creative Writers Boot Camp

Students will create a consistent writing practice that fits your lifestyle and personal commitments, incorporating tools to avoid procrastination, being accountable, getting your writing accomplished, creating schedules for your practice and projects, and finding a creative community that works for you. Additional topics include getting started on a writing project you may be thinking about (short story, novel, memoir, personal essay) defining a first draft, and ideas for completing one, and methods for approaching the revision process. This course includes in-class writing exercises at every session.
