This class will help you learn how to control your daily aches and pains so they don’t prevent you from enjoying an active lifestyle. We ‘ll explore ways to boost your confidence in order to accomplish daily activities. By enhancing your physical health, your mental fitness will show vast improvement, thus preventing stress and depression. We will give you tools that empower you to become your healthiest self and live a vibrant life! We will discuss mobility issues, and learn the difference between normal aging and disability. Remember, your doctor will keep you alive, and your physical therapist will help you maintain the quality of life you desire and deserve! Topics to be discussed: Pain control Balance and fall prevention Healthy activity for seniors This class is for anyone near or over the age of 60 who: Experience difficulty rising from a chair with or without armrests Experience difficulty going up or down the stairs without a railing Are seniors who want to increase their physical mobility and conquer their fear of falling
