Exploring Professional Options: Designing a Career Plan & Marketing Materials that Work

This course is designed for job seekers and career explorers. The goal of this course is to help participants learn how to explore professional options and design a meaningful career path. Whether you are 22 or 72, it is never too late to explore a career that will add excitement and happiness to your life. During this class, we will utilize career exploration assessments and self- reflective exercises to define and articulate your strengths, values, and interests. We will infuse these qualities into your career plan and personal marketing materials. Participants will learn to write a purposeful resume, compelling cover letter, and an informative LinkedIn profile. With these personal marketing materials in hand, participants will also design job searching, networking, and interviewing strategies to bring you closer to your professional goals.
