Baking Basics - AM Session
In this one week course, students will learn the basics of baking including the measurement and mixing of quick breads and yeast breads. Each day brings new and exciting foods including pizza, muffins, pasta, cinnamon buns, babka, soft pretzels, and much more Your child will learn how to work coopertatively in a kitchen as well as practice cleaning/sanitation, organization, and team work. Competitions and games are incorporated into this interactive class. Course is taught by a WCASD Family and Consumer Science teacher. A $25 materials fee due first day of class payble to the instructor. For ages 9 - 12. If your child is enrolled in both the AM/PM sessions, they may bring a non-persihable bagged lunch.
