Chester County Night School

Beginning Knitting

Learn a wonderful craft for a lifetime of enjoyment. Create gifts for family and friends, or make something for yourself. We'll start with casting on and off, knitting and purling, increasing and decreasing. You'll also learn to make cables and lace effects. Bring short to medium length needles in any size from 8 to 11 and one skein of medium weight (#4) yarn to the first class. The instructor will have extra needles and scrap yarn for practice. If you know how to knit, bring an easy pattern to receive help from the instructor.
