Chester County Night School

Antique Ice Tool Museum - A Chester County Treasure!

Did you know ... that just outside of West Chester stands a lovingly-preserved, family-owned, one-of-a-kind museum dedicated to honoring a bygone trade: the harvesting and delivery of natural ice! Join us for a guided tour of the Antique Ice Tool Museum. Walk in the footsteps of the Ice man from the early 1800's to the 1940's. The museum houses an impressive collection of horse drawn ice wagons, trucks, and tools used in the natural ice trade. Come learn the fascinating history behind this forgotten industry and see the total restoration of a 1834 Chester County Bank Barn. All funds collected benefit Chester County Night School.
