About Boating Safety
This course covers the basics of recreational boating; both power & sail, and satisfy requirements in all 50 states to obtain a boating safety certificate. Topics include marine charts, rules of the road, and aids to navigation, marine radio, trailing, personal watercraft, anchoring and emergency situations, and more. Taught by certified U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary instructors. Successful completion of this class allows students to obtain a safe boating card accepted in PA, NJ, DE and MD. Course is recognized by U.S. Coast Guard and National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) Tuition includes manual. Children ages 12 to 16 must register and be accompanied by a paying adult. NJ Certification available.
