Raptors - Let's Learn Series -Session #1: Hawks Up Close
Description: Join educators, human and avian, for an up-close look at birds of prey and their adaptations for survival.
In this first class, you'll meet live hawks, and examine feathers, wings and more to learn about these birds, their natural history and conservation efforts to protect them and their habitats.
All birds are non-releasable due to injuries sustained in the wild and are now educational ambassadors residing at Indian Run Environmental Education Center.
Each class in this series highlights a different raptor species. Attendance to every class is not required.
