Tour of Two Historic Houses and Lunch: John Chads, Barns-Brinton, Mushrooms Cafe
Enjoy history-filled tours of The John Chads House & Springhouse, c.1725 (1736 N. Creek Road) and the Barns-Brinton House & Tavern, c.1714 with costumed guides. These houses are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Please gather at the Chadds Ford Historical Society's Barn Visitors Center, at 10:30 am. (1736 N. Creek Road). The group will walk over to the John Chads House, located directly across the street (1736 N. Creek Road). Then take a short ride to the Barns-Brinton House (630 Baltimore Pike). Afterwards everyone can enjoy antiques in the historic White Barn Carriage House: The Gables, Chadds Ford. Admission, lunch, gratuity and taxes included in the fee. Lunch will be at The Mushrooms Cafe. Please see receipt for details.

After the two tours, lunch will be at a restaurant called The Gables which is across the street from the final tour stop-Barns-Brinton House. Choices for lunch are: - Chicken Salad on a Croissant with a side salad or fries - Local Port0bello Wrap with a side salad or fries - Beer Mussels A small dessert and drink is also included .|
