Wonderful Winter Birding At Your Backyard Feeders

This course will teach skills needed to identify the birds found in Chester County. You will learn about various species in the county, including habitat, feeding preferences, calls, behaviors and how to create bird friendly backyard. Topics covered will also include selecting the right binoculars, feeder, nest boxes and keeping observation notes. The last two classes will be 9 AM Saturday field trip to local birding hotspots allowing you to apply your birding skills. Saturday fieldtrip dates: 4/13,4/20
