N.C. Wyeth New Perspectives Exhibit with Lunch - NEW!

N. C. Wyeth: New Perspectives Well known during the 20th century for his bold, imaginative illustrations that brought new characterizations to classic stories such as Treasure Island and The Boy’s King Arthur, N. C. Wyeth also pursued interests in painting landscapes, seascapes, portraits, still lifes, murals, and advertisements throughout his life, eager to be known as more than an illustrator. ?This exhibition examines the entirety of Wyeth’s career, repositioning him within the greater context of early 20th century American art. During this time we will also have an small secondary exhibition on N. C. Wyeth’s career that looks at rare examples of Wyeth-related archives and ephemera including books, posters, magazines, and other objects. Lunch buffet includes: Selection of sandwiches – Pecan and Apple Chicken Salad Wrap, Egg Salad Sandwich, & Chef’s Daily Selection Brandywine Seasonal Soup Garden Salad Cookie Fruit Cup Beverage – coffee, tea, lemonade, soda 10:15 AM: Arrival 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Guided Tour of N.
