The Best of Baking

In this one-week course, students will learn the basics of baking including the measurement and mixing of quick breads and yeast breads. Each day brings new and exciting foods including pizza, muffins, pie, cinnamon buns, babka, soft pretzels, and cookies. Your child will learn how to work cooperatively in a kitchen as well as practice cleaning/sanitation, organization, and teamwork. Competitions and games are incorporated into this interactive class. Course is taught by a WCASD Family and Consumer Science teacher. A $25 materials fee due first day of class payable to the instructor. For ages 9 - 12.
