Create a Backyard Banquet for Polinators- Online via Zoom!

NEW! ON- LINE: Create a Backyard Banquet for Pollinators! Pollinators make our gardens a success and enable the life on this planet to thrive. Without pollinators our food supply is compromised. Habitat loss, environmental degradation and climate change are hurting our all pollinators - insects, birds and mammals. Learn about their requirements and how to make your property a haven for these important partners. This will introduce you to appropriate plants, soil preparation, garden layout, various pollinator certification programs and how your garden can make a big difference. " BIO: Gardening for over 40 years, Liz is an avid organic gardener, naturalist, engineer, dog lover and educator. The Penn State Extension Chester County Master Gardener Coordinator for over 6 years, before retiring in 2017. She is an adjunct Longwood Gardens continuing education instructor and on-line course designer on vegetable gardening. She holds numerous workshops throughout the SE PA region on horticultural topics including growing vegetables, pollinator gardens and landscaping with native plants.
