Celebrate the season while touring the exquisite spaces in which Henry Francis duPont entertained family and friends in grand style. Experience holiday traditions of the past and dazzling entertaining displays. This is a self-guided tour with stationed guides in various rooms to offer information. Lunch on ylour own at their lovely cafe. The Ann Lowe exhibit will be on display including a replica of Jacqueline Kennedy's wedding gown will be on exhibit. Gift shop hours 10 AM to 4 PM. Please plan to allot 15-30 minutes for check-in. Upon arrival, stop at our Gatehouse (small white building to the left). Our Public Safety Officer will direct you to our Visitor Center. Have the driver pull up in front at the designated drop-off for busses and remain on the bus. A Visitor Services Assistant will come out to greet and orient the group. Winterthur has a full service cafeteria-style restaurant in the Visitor Center. If you have any questions, please contact our Information and Tours Office at 800.448.3883 x7029. Notes:

Dear students: Please pick up your tickets at Visitor Services. The self-paced introductory tour is available from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. You should arrive at the Visitor Center to check in no later than 3:45 pm as the tour line closes promptly at 4:00 pm. Upon arrival, follow the signs to park in the Visitor Parking Lot and then take the path down to the Visitor Center to check in. Tours depart from the Conservatory. A shuttle or tram will bring you near the Conservatory and then there is a short walk to the entrance. Please wait outside and our staff will open the door for you. Please dress for the weather. Please note bag and coat checks are not available at the Conservatory. We recommend leaving any personal items that you do not wish to carry locked in your car. There are also lockers available, free of charge, in the Galleries Reception Area, which is a short walk from the Conservatory. Restrooms are also unavailable at the Conservatory. We suggest using the restrooms in the Visitor Center before making your way to the tour. Your tickets include the garden, garden tram (weather and space permitting), the self-guided Galleries, the Campbell Collection of Soup Tureens and a self-paced house tour. Hours tours are available between 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The line closes promptly at 4:00 p.m. You may have a short wait outside. Please dress for the weather.
