Watercolor for Beginners

Short Bio/Credentials: Hello, my name is Christy Maurer. and I am a local self-taught watercolor artist. I believe that watercolor is so much more than putting paint to paper. Painting with watercolors can also be a beautiful and relaxing experience. I have learned to let go of my expectations about what I think a painting should look like and let the watercolor "do it's thing". This makes the creative process so much more enjoyable and exciting, and I can't wait to share this experience with others.

I recommend the watercolor brushes by Princeton, either Princeton Select (slightly cheaper) or Princeton Heritage. You can purchase them at Michael’s, Amazon or any other art supply store.
