iPhones are a challenge. Learn to understand four features of smartphone use – Phone, Messaging, Contacts, and Settings. Learn how to increase font size and volume. Create new and delete unused contacts, how to make favorites, and how to find a contact. Learn about the symbols(icons) that appear when the phone is first opened. Understand how to message, whether typing or sending an audio text, attach a picture and more. Understand the capabilities of phone use and voicemail, how to make a 3-way call and use Facetime. Learn how to download and delete an app and setup Siri. Must be able to download iOS 18.

Elaine Lazorwitz

Elaine's undergraduate education was obtained at the School of Visual Arts, and her master's degree achieved at NYU, both in the field of art. She spent 40 years as a master scheduler, working on projects such as the reconstruction of the World Trade Center and Masdar in the United Arab Emirates.
For the past three years, she has taught Android Basics, iPhone Basics, Photos for iPhone, Technology classes, and iPad classes at Delaware County Community College.
