Watercolor for Beginners

Short Bio/Credentials: Hello, my name is Christy Maurer. and I am a local self-taught watercolor artist. I believe that watercolor is so uch more than putting paint to paper. Painting with watercolors can also be a beautiful and relaxing experience. I have learned to let go of my expectations about what I think a painting should look like and let the watercolor "do it's thing". This makes the creative process so much more enjoyable and exciting, and I can't wait to share this experience with others.

Students will be responsible for providing their own paint brushes. Suggested brush sizes are a round #6 and a round #2. Paper and paint will be provided.
