DARE: Small Brave Things- A Painted Journal (Session 1) Tuesdays, 1PM-3PM (5 Classes, 10 hours total) Starts Tuesday, September 15th, 2026 - October 13th, 2026 Ages 18+ Cost= $138./per person 2 Seats Available Course Description: "In this intimate five-week program, you will make a complete painted journal – your book — built from things you are ready to let go of and transformed, layer by layer, into something entirely new. Each session introduces a technique — collage, mark-making, stencil work, color glazing — and each page of your journal becomes a chapter in a larger personal story told not in words but in color, texture, and the small brave act of putting something true on paper." -Suggested Supply List: -A mixed media sketchbook (at least A4 size with medium to heavy weight paper) -Personal ephemera — old letters, journal pages, photographs, pages from meaningful books, handwritten notes, maps -Scissors -A glue stick -Bring your favorite art materials if you have some: acrylics, watercolor, graphite and color pencils, fine liners, water soluble crayons, etc.
