QPR is a suicide prevention training that teaches how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis, asking someone if they are thinking of attempting suicide and to refer them to get help they need. DEveloped by the QPR Institute, the training is evidence based and is listed on the National Registry of Evidence-Based Practices and Polocies. Training is 1-1/2 to 2 hours and are facilitated by certified QPR instructors.
