Why create black and white images? Now a days all our cameras capture the world we live in with fantastic colors and vibrancy. But as nice as color is, it can also be distracting. By converting our images to black and white we can remove that distraction and bring more artistic emphasis to elements such as lighting, shadow, texture, patterns and mood. There is much more involved in the conversion process then simply removing saturation. We will cover what type of images might look better as monochrome and the process for making a stunning black and white image from capture to print.

DSLR or mirrorless camera recommended.
