This boating class provides knowledge needed to obtain a Boating Safety Education Certificate required in most states. Taught by US Coast Guard Auxiliary certified instructors. Topics include: introduction to Boating, Boating Law, Boat Safety Equipment, Safe Boating, Navigation, Boating Problems, Trailering, Storing and Protecting Your Boat, Hunting and Fishing, Water-skiing and River Boating. Three hands-on classes for using a 1. VHF radio, 2. lines & knots and 3. marine charts and plotting courses.
