Join us for a guided hike on the scenic Appalachian Trail. You'll enjoy panoramic views from Pulpit Rock and the Pinnacle (said by some to be one of the most spectacular views in southeastern PA). Bring your binoculars, a hearty lunch, and water. Wear hiking boots or high topped shoes and be prepared for some steep and rocky terrain. Dress comfortably in layers. Course fee does not include transportation to the site. Meet at Warwick County Park (lower lot) 191 County Park Road, Pottstown 19465 for carpooling to our destination site.
The AT hike is in the 8 - 9 mile range. There are some steep sections and some rocky/boulder sections. Most of the hike would be considered moderate in difficulty, with some small portions considered difficult. The pace is dictated by the group, with a goal of moderate.
