Wonderful Winter Birding At Your Backyard Feeders

Explore the fun and entertaining world of backyard bird feeding in winter. You will learn not only about identifying backyard birds, but also about habitat and feeding preferences of the birds that will come to your backyard feeders. Equipment used for observation, feeders, types of bird appropriate food, preventing window collisions and thwarting squirrels and other hungry critters will be discussed. The last two classes will be 9 AM Saturday fieldtrip to local birding hotspots allowing you to apply your birding skills.
