Abandoned Cresson Sanatorium & State Prison ***NEW***
Join us for this special exclusive 6-hour workshop at the abandoned Cresson Sanatorium & State Prison. This facility opened in 1913 as the Cresson Tuberculosis Sanatorium and transitioned into a state hospital and then into a state
prison operated by SCI as a medium security facility. The prison was closed in 2013 and remains mostly abandoned.
Flaking paint, broken glass, dark hallways, and rust are abundant everywhere you look in this 34-acre site with 20 buildings, and over 500,000 square feet. You are free to explore and photograph everything as well as underground tunnels.
