Scan Old Photos, Negatives, Slides and Documents
Learn how to properly collect, prepare and scan printed photos, negatives,
slides, and documents for digital preservation and online sharing for
generations to come. Can you do it yourself? Learn exactly what skills are
required and what equipment is required to get the job done!
Equipment Required for Class:
None. This course consists of demonstration, discussion, and the distribution
of excellent resources for planning and completion of your project.
Materials:
Handouts will be provided during class by the instructor in print or electronic
format.
Course Prerequisites:
None. This course is designed for students who are interested in learning who,
what, where, when, why and how to digitally preserve and share family
memories in the form of print photos, negatives, slides and memorabilia in
many forms.
Notes:
NOTE: Laptops are not provided. Please bring your own laptop to class, PC or Mac
