Pysanky and Batik Egg- NEW!

Have you heard about pysanky in the news or seen them on social media and been curious? Or maybe you've taken a class and need to finish but don't have the supplies or want to learn another technique. This is your class! In this four-week session, you will receive a materials list and have access to instructor materials. We will discuss traditional designs and divisions, original batik eggs, stained glass style (dark to light) and acid etching. Our focus for this session will be learning to confidently pencil divisions, layer color and use etching on a colored eggshell. This class is geared towards all levels. The goal is to have a great time and learn more about folk art. Ages: 16+ Supplies: #2 pencil, regular or mechanical, white vinyl eraser, chicken eggs (any color, in a carton, preferably 12, room temperature), fine and medium kistka.
