An Introduction to Estate Planning: Wills, Living Wills, and Powers of Attorney
The course will provide students with an introduction to the estate planning process and the primary estate planning documents: Wills, Living Wills and Powers of Attorney. The course will provide an overview of the issues that students should consider as they evaluate their own estate plan or assist family members. These issues include the distribution of assets, beneficiary designations, the appointment of executors and agents, and estate and inheritance tax issues.
