Instructor Information

Ann Kirk, PT, DPT, SFMA Meet your instructor Anne Kirk, PT, DPT, SFMA Anne is the head of the Women's Self Protection and Self Defense program at Kirk's Premier Martial Arts and Krav Maga. She has earned advanced rank in Krav Maga, as well as instructor certification with Krav Maga Universal. Anne has completed courses at the Wingate Institute of Sport in Israel including the International Martial Arts Conference and Seminar, and Krav Maga Techniques and Concepts. Anne has numerous accreditations from seminars including Women's Self Protection, multiple attackers, third party protection, ground work in Krav Maga, power striking in Krav Maga, Edged Weapons, Gun defenses, and Knife Defenses. Anne has worked with local law enforcement doing simulation training. Anne assisted in organizing as well as participated in the International Krav Maga Camp, working with instructors from Israel, the Netherlands, and Italy. Anne also enjoys strength training with kettlebells, and is currently working toward her SFG I kettlebell certification. Anne earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2010. Anne currently practices in her own private physical therapy practice in West Chester with a focus on martial artists. She recently earned her Selective Functional Mobility Screen certification from Functional Movement Systems. Anne currently teaches adults and children Krav Maga, as well as runs the strength and conditioning program at Kirk's PMA.
